Podcasts are currently all the rage; it took me a little while, but I have finally hopped on the bandwagon. There are certain podcasts I make time for every week. I have a specific routine for which podcasts I listen to, and when. For the podcasts I like, I use Spotify premium to listen. Here are the podcasts I listen to throughout my day.
Getting Ready – Goal Digger
Jenna Kutcher’s Goal Digger is a great podcast to listen to while I shower, style my hair, and do my make-up. It is a great motivator; it is a high energy podcast that is equally entertaining and informative. Every aspiring female entrepreneur needs to check out this podcast! New episodes come Mondays and Wednesdays; start your day inspired with Jenna Kutcher!
Morning Commute – NPR, Up First
NPR’s Up First is an incredible way to get your news in a succinct amount of time. Each episode is about thirteen to fifteen minutes and enlightens on headlines around the world. There is a new podcast Monday-Friday and is the perfect commute podcast; NPR is a remarkable news source and Up First is the best way to get the “need-to-know” information.
Evening Commute – The Mash-Up Americans
The Mash-Up Americans is an empowering podcast of the reality of being American. A lot of times, we only see a certain (white) story being told. This podcast challenges that narrative and sheds light on American stories. The hosts are both first generation Americans and offer their insightful perspectives on a variety of topics. It is an entertaining, yet informative way to wind down after a long day of work. New episodes come out every other Wednesday.
Before Bed – Crime Junkie
Crime Junkie is my true crime fix; one episode was all it took to get me hooked. Each captivating podcast tells the story of a mysterious disappearance or murder. Monday’s are my new favorite since that is when I look forward to new episodes. These fascinating podcasts are my favorite way to end the night; it doesn’t put me to sleep but I enjoy listening while in bed.
